Birthday with the Divas!

The weekend after my birthday, my girls wanted to take me out to do something fun and to eat. Of course we have to go eat!!! So I thought about things to do. So I decided we would go paint our own pottery. It was so much fun. When you get there you have to choose what you want to paint. There are so many choices. I chose a dog bowl!Here is what it looked like before I started to design and paint. Then I sponged the paint on the bowl. I did mine in a light green color. After that dried, I stenciled on some doggy bones and paw prints. Then went and painted them orange, blue, red, yellow, and a dark green. After that is done you leave it there and they glaze and fire it for you. Then you pick it up and enjoy your art! Here is what it looked like when I left it there. It is a lot of work, but lots of fun! Here are mom, Alice, Lisa Lynne, and Lisa painting there stuff. We all had lots of fun.This is after we were done and left them to be finished. They all turned out really cute. Wish I had gotten a picture of all of them after they were completed. Oh well. Will have to do this again.

Moving Day

Ok! So I got a few pictured of the boxes before we actually started moving them. Then once everyone got there and started working I forgot to take pictures. And when we got to the new place I forgot to take pictures there too. I am not doing very well remembering to take pictures of stuff. Maybe I will get better about that.Here are the boxes in our old living room before being hauled off to the U-haul truck. They were heavy. Doesn't look like a lot from the picture, but there were a lot of boxes. I think about 20 boxes and then all the furniture. New apartment is upstairs. So we had to carry everything up the stairs once we got there. Did I mention it was hot that day!!! But we survived. I have to thank everyone again that helped us. If it wasn't for them we would have never gotten everything to the new place. Our helpers are the best ever and we love them bunches!

One Year!!! : )

So back in May we had our one year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year already. Time goes by so fast. We didn't do a whole lot. My mom got us a night at the Omni Hotel so we stayed the night there. Ordered in some room service food and just hung out. It is a really nice hotel. Kinda expensive. Not too exciting, but we had fun.Here is the outside of the hotel.Here is the big fancy king size bed. The pillows were so soft I wanted to bring them home!

Sad News

Ok! So it has been awhile since I have updated. I have a few posts that need to get done if I get a chance to get them on here. And if I can find the camera!!! So back to the sad news. I have to report that we are back to only having one pet again, Chance. Butters has gone to live with a new family. I am not completely sure yet why we gave him away. Maybe one day I can explain. Right now we are sad and trying to deal with giving him away. Thinking about it makes me cry and Justin doesn't even want to mention his name. I really miss the crazy little piggy. He was really sweet and cute. I am sure we will get another pet one day, but not sure what it will be or when. The family he went to live with is a good family. One of the interns that works with Justin took him for his girlfriend and his little sister fell in love with him and is now going to keep him. I am just glad that we know who has him and that he will be loved and well taked care of. Now I am sad and going to cry.

Wreck #2

Just so everyone knows, Justin was hit by an old lady last week. We have another rent car! He was going through his green light and this lady turned on her red light. He thought she would stop in the far right or middle lane since they were clear!! But she didn't stop and merged into him. Hit him so hard it knocked him up on the curb. So it is in the shop now getting fixed. He is ok by the way. He didn't get hurt. Just the car. So now we get to go through waiting to see if her insurance is going to pay and all that fun again!

Chance

OK, so I am a big dork. I thought this was so cute I had to get a picture and I had to post it so everyone could see if they thought it was cute too! So I think it is adorable. Justin laughed at me. But this is the time he is good. He was asleep on the bed cuddle up with one of my stuffed animal doggies. I had to post it. It was just too cute!

Bowling Night

My work has Spring to Health every April. Every year I do a few more things than I did the year before. So this year we added going to the bowling night! It actually was a lot of fun. I have to admit I am not very good, but I did try. It was me, Justin, Karen, and Jon on our team. We didn't win, but we had lots of fun.I guess we will have to do it again next year. Maybe the more we play the better we will get.

Panchos anyone??!!??

So we were really hungry after work and Justin decided he wanted Panchos! So we went. Doesn't that look yummy? Oh wait there is more!Still so yummy! Anyone else hungry for Panchos now?We had to "Raise the Flag" for another chalupa and drinks! I have to say it was very yummy. I am really full now. So is Justin!!

Update 2 on Car

So my car is finally fixed! Yeah!!!!!! We ended up not having to pay anything. She took full responsibility and her insurance called and told mine they would send them a check to cover the repairs. So no deductible and we don't have to fight with them to get any money back!!! I am so glad that is over!

New Piggy

Ok. So I am a sucker for animals. We got another piggy. We got him from the piggy rescue. He was one of the piggies they rescued from a lab. He is the sweetest thing. He is shy and timid and hides a lot, but we are working with him to get him to be more social with us. he has started to eat out of our hands so that is a good thing. And he loves veggies. His name is Flake. He is a cutie. Him and Butters don't really get along yet, but we are hoping they do soon. But right now they are in separate cages. Will have to let you guys get to know him too!!!

Piggy Hoedown

So we went to a Guinea Pig Hoedown. We took out Piggy, Butters, and got him a checkup and his nails trimmed. We bought this little bag thing to carry them in that keeps them warm and keep the pee off you if they decide they need to go. We saw all kinds of piggies for adoption. Some of the stories of mistreated piggies made me so sad. Some people out there are so mean. Makes me sad the way some people treat their pets. The animals have no idea why you are being mean to them and they love you no matter what. And then you kill them or just leave them to die. So sad for me. I love animals and hate to hear stories of animals that have been left for death or killed.This is one that was up for adoption. They found this one in a trashcan. Someone decided they didn't want it anymore so instead of selling it or giving it away they just threw it in a trashcan. And a neighbor found it and got it to the piggy rescue.

Update on car

So it is going to cost $2575 to fix my car. I have to pay the deductible if the girls insurance doesn't take responsibility before my car gets fixed. If they do, then I don't have to pay anything. If they don't, I have to pay $250 and then when they decide to pay then I will get my money back. And if they won't do anything then we are out the $250. Doesn't that sound like fun??!!?

Stupid drivers!!!!!

So this morning I was on my way to work and didn't even get out of the parking lot of the apartments before so girl backed into me. My pretty car is now smashed in the front. She didn't look back before she backed out. She put it in reverse and before I could do anything SMASH!! So now I get to deal with insurance people and have my car fixed! So let the fun begin!!! She smashed the headlight. The hood is moved over about 3 inches from where it was originally. I can stick my finger in the whole from where the hood is now and where it is supposed to be. The side panel in front of the tire is almost on the tire. Any harder I would not have been able to drive the car. The fender is smashed and has a cut in it from her tailpipe. And all she said was oops I wasn't looking. Nice, huh?!!?

Aparment hunting!

So looking for apartments is not fun at all. We looked online and then had to drive all over Dallas to look at some. Online they are perfect and nice. You drive to them, and well they are terrifying and creepy!These were supposed to have a security gate, there was no gate and the property was gross.This is the leasing office. The apartment we are in now is bigger. We decided to go somewhere else. We want people to come visit us! So we went to some really nice ones. We loved the next ones. Signed a lease and will be moving in April. They have lakes and trails to walk on.I think people will come visit us here! We will be on the 2nd floor. We are closer to the Temple and near a lot of resturants. The fitness center is huge!!! Bigger than some houses I have been in. Isn't that huge? So if anyone is bored in April let us know!!!! We could use some good movers!

Lucky dog!

Isn't this a sweet picture! We wanted to get a few pictures of Lucky since he is getting older. So while we were over at Justin's mom's house we took so. Thought I would share. He's such a sweet and smart dog. He tries to be big and mean, but he really isn't. We took a picture of Patty, but she was in her jammies. I know I wouldn't want my jammie picture posted so I didn't post hers! But it is a good picture!

Fun in G-Town

We decided to go back and visit everyone in Gilmer for the weekend. We got to see everyone but the Vicks! They decided that PA was more fun than waiting to see if we were going to come visit. We finally got to go to Gina's and play the Wii. It was fun. I think i am better at Wii bowling than regular bowling. But oh well.Justin is doing the boxing. He loved it. He was pretty good at it too. Then later that evening we all went to eat! It was good. Had lots of fun talking and hanging out. You really miss that when you don't get to be around as much as you want. You miss out on a lot of stuff too.Had family home evening on Sunday. Seth even stopped by for awhile. It was good to see him. Apparently he doesn't hang out as much anymore. You know when you are that age everyone is either too old or too young. I forgot I had my camera, but I did get a really cute one of Chelle and Kristy!

New Addition........

This is our new Nephew, Colton Darren Isonhood. This is Clint and Kim's newest baby! He's so sweet. He does eat a lot so you know he is an Isonhood! He fits in perfect with the other boys! He was born Feb 28, 2009 (Justin's birthday) and was 6 lbs 11 oz. He's so cuddly!

Here is the proud big sister, Alyssa! Isn't she cute as a button? She is fun and loves when we come to visit. She told us she wanted to come stay at our house! We will have to see about that!

Justin's Birthday!

So Feb 28 was Justin's 26th birthday! We started the fun day out by getting up at 6:00am to take the dog, Chance, to the vet. We had to be there early so we wouldn't have to be there all day. Well after waiting about 30 mins we went to the back. They wanted to keep him to run some tests and said they would be done in a "couple" of hours. Yeah!!! So we went to IHOP for breakfast. They finally called at 12:00 to say he was ready. He had an infection and got to take meds! Then we met my mom, Nina, all the Robinsons, Liz and Fallon at Cafe Amore for lunch and so they could give Justin his gifts. It was a nice visit. We then went to Petsmart to look at Guinea pigs since Justin wanted one for his birthday. He got a really cute one. Named him Butters. He is a little retarded but so is the dog so he fits in well. We then went to dinner at Japon. It was really good. They cook the food at your table. Kinda like Shoguns in Longview. It was a fun birthday. He loves his guinea pig. And I have to say I like it too!!!!
